Connect an AI assistant

Let ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code or another AI assistant work with your farm while you are signed in.

The connection URL

Every AI assistant connects to the same URL. Paste it wherever the assistant asks for an MCP or "custom connector" URL.

Connect your assistant

Pick your assistant below. After connecting, ask it to use Hoofprint Valley.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT's settings, choose Connectors, then Advanced, and turn on Developer mode. If Developer mode is unavailable, a ChatGPT administrator needs to enable it.
  2. Review the details, tick the confirmation box and click Create.
  3. Enable the app from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use it.

Claude

  1. Open Claude's Connectors page, choose Add custom connector, name the connector and paste the connection URL.
  2. If the prefilled form does not open, use Claude's Connectors page instead and add the connection there.
  3. Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use the app.

Claude Code

  1. Run this one-line command in a terminal.
  1. Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm the app is connected. It asks you to sign in from that menu only when the connection is protected.
  2. Ask Claude Code to use Hoofprint Valley.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. Create a remote MCP server connection.
  3. Name the connection and paste the connection URL from above.
  4. Finish any sign-in or authorization prompts, enable the connection, then ask the assistant to use the app.

After the app changes

A connected assistant caches what the app can do, so refresh the connection to pick up the latest changes.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select this app.
  2. Scroll down to Information and click Refresh.
  3. If the connection URL changed, delete the app from Plugins and connect it again with the latest URL from above.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use the app.

Claude

  1. Open the Connectors page and select this connector.
  2. Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  3. If the connection URL changed, remove the connector and add it again with the latest URL from above.
  4. Ask Claude to use the app.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session — it loads the app's latest tools when it connects.
  2. If the connection URL changed, remove the connection and run the install command above again with the latest URL.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use the app.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant's MCP server or connector settings.
  2. Select the connection created for this app.
  3. Refresh the tool list, reload the server, or reconnect it.
  4. If the connection URL changed, paste the latest URL from above, then start a new chat.

Your assistant discovers what it can do on its own — one short sentence: once connected, it can use your farm's records and game tools with you.
